Our Oregon Trail – Part 2

8 things we loved about Oregon:

1. Wooden Shoe 25th Annual Tulip Fest

more than 150 tulip varieties
more than 40 acres of tulips
and mud puddles to boot!

  1. I love this post about OR. I lived in Myrtle Creek, OR, as a young girl and remember many of these wonderful things you mentioned. Your photographs were stunning as well. Thanks!

    1. Thanks for reading, Christy! I enjoyed your last post — especially the part about hoping to dust again someday! I’m right there with you!

  2. Your photos are so true to these wonderful places in the Pacific Northwest. I live about 5 miles from Bishop’s Close/Elk Rock Gardens and was there last weekend. You can see my photos on my Picasa album at http://picasaweb.google.com/pmlhitt815, and I invite you to see what the gardens looked like a few days after your family was there. The weather was very much as it was in your photos.
